A Home by the Sea
So, you’re a fan of Channel 4’s Homes by the Sea and you remember the Skye episode in the first series. Well, not only can you meet Ian & Robbie, whose stunning lochside home was featured, but you can also buy the seasonal vegetables, salads and soft fruits grown on their croft at the Glendale Highland Market.
About Ian & Robbies Vegetables
Ian and Robbie started An Airigh Market Garden in 2013 on bare croft land and enjoy the challenge of growing a wide range of quality produce off this wild and windy peninsula. Their produce is pesticide free and grown to organic principles. They benefit from seaweed harvested from the shore. Tender crops are grown in storm robust Keder greenhouses.
And if the idea of eating a prize-winning vegetable is on your bucket list then, tick. An Airigh Market Garden were Dunvegan Show prize winners in 2015, just two years after starting their croft (x6 1st place, x4 2nd place & x1 3rd place).
Find out what’s available during the season on their Facebook page An Airigh Market Garden.
