About Gregs Lobsters
Greg’s lobsters are found typically on hard ground in relatively shallow waters and on the fringes of kelp beds. The diet of the adults consists mainly of benthic invertebrates such as crabs, molluscs, sea urchins, polychaete worms and starfish, but may also include fish and plants. The majority are caught in waters shallower than 30 m but they may be found as deep as 150 m.
The lobsters are caught using sustainable fishing methods (creels). Orders are made at the Glendale Highland Market and picked up live the following morning. A donation is made to a local charity for each sale and are available to order via the community stall. Picking up your fresh lobster can be one of the highlights of a summer holiday for kids or can just a fantastic excuse for a trip to one of the most scenic parts of Glendale.
